Lynn Larkin and Judith Seton have been friends for many years. In 1989 they met while working for a non profit organization which was committed to ending hunger on the planet. They remain great friends to this day. Lynn Larkin born in NYC, has been involved with social issues including non-profit fund raising, community health, women's issues and personal growth for many years. She has trained in business and management and used her skills in a wide variety of fields. As an accredited Life Coach, Lynn was acutely aware of the effect health and well being had on a client’s productivity and satisfaction with life. With the current state of our environment, skyrocketing health care costs and medical professionals who are overwhelmed and lack resources, Lynn saw a great need for education as well as affordable home testing and products for those with hormonal imbalance and environmentally caused health issues. She noticed it was often difficult to receive accurate diagnosis and support of ailments that were clearly debilitating, in a health system that was expensive and too often unresponsive to those who ‘just weren’t feeling well’. It is from this reality that the Canary Club was born. Judith Seton, born in Los Angles, California has been privileged to live, work and study around the world including in England and Australia. She has worked for a number of NGO’s as a community developer and fund raiser, including Save the Children, Red Cross and the Leukemia Foundation. Making the world a better place is a passion for Judith and her husband Robert with whom she now lives in the lovely wine country of Northern California. When Judith returned to the United States in 2002 after living seventeen years in Australia, where there is a thriving national health system, she was shocked at the lack of an effective health care system for the citizens of the United Sates Through The Canary Club, Judith saw an opportunity to educate and support people. By providing premier Home Lab Testing Kits at a discount, along with health related products and professional services, so that people can take charge of their own health more effectively. On creating the Canary Club: “It was terrifying being in the U.S. with no health insurance. It seemed that the cost of any health care was a huge financial burden. Being able to support others with their health concerns is a privilege and is an area where I see much assistance is needed. I love being able to make a difference for our members in this vital arena.”
