Explore your daily cortisol pattern alongside neurotransmitter-related markers. The CC NT + Calm Focused Profile combines 4-point saliva cortisol with a dried-urine neurotransmitter panel in one profile.
Bring both sets of results to a conversation with your clinician about stress, mood, sleep, energy, and focus. Collect saliva and dried-urine samples at home using the kit instructions.
ZRT profile: SU-843 | Saliva 4-Point Cortisol + Dried Urine LCMS Neurotransmitters
Bring together two sets of laboratory information: your daily cortisol pattern and neurotransmitter-related markers in urine. SU-843 combines the listed testing in S-120 and U-325 into one profile.
| What You Get | S-120 | U-325 | SU-843 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4-point saliva cortisol pattern | Included | Not included | Included |
| Dried-urine neurotransmitter-related panel | Not included | Included | Included |
| Sample types | Saliva | Dried urine | Saliva + dried urine |
SU-843 includes both types of testing in one profile.
S-120 — Cortisol Pattern Focus
Four saliva cortisol measurements, without neurotransmitter testing.
U-325 — Neurotransmitter Focus
The dried-urine neurotransmitter-related panel, without cortisol testing.
SU-843 — Cortisol + Neurotransmitter Focus
Both sets of testing are in the CC NT + Calm Focused Profile.
For additional sex hormone and DHEA-S measurements, consider the CC NT & Hormone Profile family with your clinician. Within that family, SU-844 includes those additional hormones together with four-point saliva cortisol and the neurotransmitter-related panel.
Cortisol and neurotransmitters are involved in different aspects of the body's chemical signaling. Reviewing these laboratory markers together can provide additional context for a clinical discussion about stress, mood, sleep, energy, and focus.
Important: urinary neurotransmitter testing does not directly measure neurotransmitter levels inside the brain. It measures neurotransmitter-related compounds found in urine.
Cortisol (C x4): one hormone measured at four collection times to show its daily pattern.
The urine panel includes 25 neurotransmitter-related markers, metabolites, amino acids, and pathway compounds, plus creatinine as an adjunct urine marker.
Neurotransmitter and signaling markers:
GABA, glutamate, glycine, dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, histamine, serotonin, and phenethylamine.
Related metabolites:
DOPAC, homovanillic acid (HVA), 5-HIAA, normetanephrine (NMN), and vanillylmandelic acid (VMA).
Amino acids and related pathway compounds:
Tryptophan, taurine, tyrosine, tyramine, glutamine, histidine, N-methylhistamine, kynurenine, kynurenic acid, 3-hydroxykynurenine, and xanthurenic acid.
Adjunct urine marker: Creatinine (Crtn).
Samples: Saliva + dried urine.
SU-843 does not include sex hormones, DHEA-S, cortisone, or melatonin testing. Its four-point daily pattern is for saliva cortisol; it does not provide four separate results for every urine marker.
Collect four saliva samples and the dried-urine samples required by your ZRT kit. Follow the separate timing, preparation, drying, labeling, and return instructions for each sample type.
Discuss this profile with your clinician if you have concerns about stress, mood, sleep, fatigue, or difficulty focusing and want to explore whether this combination of testing is appropriate.
These concerns can have many possible causes. Review results together with your symptoms, health history, medications, supplements, and other clinical information.
Important: This profile provides laboratory measurements and does not diagnose a medical condition by itself. Results are best reviewed with an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.
If you still don't feel right, but you think the health system is not listening to you, clear lab results can help you be heard. Use this product's results to bring specific information to your appointment, ask better questions, and advocate for your own health while you and your clinician decide the right next steps.
