When it comes to male hormones, testosterone often takes the spotlight as the ultimate symbol of masculinity, but it's just one piece of the puzzle. Understanding the power of all male hormones helps us embark on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth.
In today's fast-paced world, it's no secret that many of us lead lives filled with constant challenges and stressors, from demanding careers to personal responsibilities that seem never-ending.
Yet, what often goes unnoticed is the remarkable internal mechanism that helps us cope with the pressures of our daily existence.
Many of us know those individuals who can effortlessly wake up without the need for an alarm clock. The moment their eyes open, they're up and about, ready to take on the day with enthusiasm and energy.
We often find ourselves envious of these early risers who appear to achieve what we struggle with. The secret to their wakefulness lies in a well-balanced endocrine system. For approximately 75% of the population, cortisol levels increase by about 50% at the right moment, effectively rousing them from slumber and motivating them to start their day.
However, not all of us are fortunate enough to experience such seamless awakenings. Despite going to bed at the same time every night, some individuals continue to face the daily struggle of getting out of bed in the morning.
Cortisol is often referred to as the "stress hormone," but it plays a vital role in our daily circadian rhythm, which includes waking up in the morning.
In today's world, we have access to an incredible array of modern technology and conveniences that make our lives easier and more enjoyable.
However, it's important to remember that many of the products we use on a daily basis can contain harmful substances that may negatively impact our thyroid health. Additionally, our diets consist of fast and processed foods, which may not provide us with the essential nutrients necessary to maintain good health.
"What if your situation is not an abnormal medical problem, but simply borderline gland function?
You can take charge of your hormonal balance and learn to restore and revive your hormones."

Hormone imbalance can have a severe impact on your health, and yet, it often goes undiagnosed.
You visit specialist after specialist only to be told nothing is wrong. We understand that feeling of frustration and helplessness.
Our modern fast-paced lifestyle means we have less time and reserves to recuperate, whilst simultaneously being exposed to an unprecedented array of endocrine-disrupting chemicals.
Chronic fatigue, adrenal burnout, foggy thinking, fertility issues, inability to lose weight despite exercise and a healthy diet... there are hundreds of symptoms of low or high production of the thyroid, adrenal, and sex hormones.
Canary Club’s at-home saliva and blood spot test kits detect specific hormone imbalances that traditional testing ignores, including TSH, TPO, free T3, and free T4 of the thyroid gland, cortisol and DHEA of the adrenals, and testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone of the reproductive organs. While vitamins may improve your symptoms, they do not generally change lab results. However, please list all hormones, supplements and vitamins that you are taking on your Test Requisition Form that ships with your test kit.
The following products are available over-the-counter and may affect lab results (this is not an exhaustive list): progesterone, pregnenolone, DHEA, 7-Keto-DHEA (see special note), hydrocortisone (cortisol). Continue to use topical hormones daily as prescribed, but avoid applying them to the face and neck areas for 3 days prior to testing. Rub in topical hormones without using fingers (e.g. wrist to wrist) for at least 2 days prior to collection. Skip use of anti-aging creams that may contain hormone traces.
NOTE: 7-Keto-DHEA is a variant form of DHEA and can create false elevations of DHEA and testosterone test results. Please discontinue use of sublingual 7-Keto-DHEAS for 3 days prior to testing. If using pill form, follow the oral collection instructions.
Note: Samples should be sent as soon as possible after collection but will remain stable for 30 days under average shipping conditions, including over weekends and holidays.
Test kits shipped to the U.S. contain a UPS or US Postal Service return label for sample returns within the US. Testers may choose to purchase an alternate form of shipping at their own expense. You are responsible for your own shipping return from outside of the U.S.
International testers will need to purchase return shipping at their own expense. These samples are not bio-hazardous so as long as they are packaged according to the Collection Instructions, there should not be any restrictions imposed by customs.
You will be notified in an email from the lab letting you know your results are available to access on their secure server. The lab will email to the address on your Test Requisition Form that you submit with your sample generally 5-6 business days from the time they receive the samples.
Ensure that you have whitelisted "@zrtlab.com" so that the email doesn't go to your spam folder. If you don't know how to whitelist, periodically check your spam folder.
The lab's email notification will give you instructions on how you create an account on the lab's secure server in order to review and download your test results. Results are NEVER on the Canary Club website.
